COCO MILITARY FUEL FACILITIES CAMP PENDLETON, CA
Western Pump constructed six new COCO Fuel Services Facilities at MCB Camp Pendleton, CA. The projects included twenty-five (25) Underground Storage Tank Systems, twenty-four (24) Submersible Pump Systems, six (6) Fuel Island Canopy Structures, eighteen (18) Fuel Dispensers, Six (6) Monitoring Systems, six (6) Vapor Recovery Systems, six (6) Fuel Management Systems, and three (3) Bulk Loading Racks.
CHOLLAS CREEK QUAYWALL FUEL TANK PROJECT (NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA)
This design-and-build marina fuel facility project included installation of a 10,000-gallon, two-compartment, aboveground storage tank and double-wall piping systems onto a floating dock for gasoline and diesel fuel dispensing into small-craft vessels. We adhered to the Department of Defense’s Unified Facilities Criteria and the requirements of the California Air Resource Board for phase-I enhanced vapor recovery for aboveground tanks.
MCAS MIRAMAR AUTO SERVICE CENTER (ASC) – MIRAMAR AIR STATION, CA
Western Pump designed and built the Fuel Tank Storage and Dispensing System for this new facility. Project features include four (4) double-wall Fiberglass Underground Storage Tanks (3 x 30,000-gallon, 1 x 15,000-gallon), nine (9) double-wall fiberglass Piping Systems, twelve (12) Fuel Dispensers (24 fueling positions), one (1) Balance Phase-II Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) System, one (1) 3-Terminal VeriFone Point-of-Sale (POS) System, and one (1) 8,832-s.f. Canopy Structure with LED fixtures.
SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT RENTAL CAR CENTER
The consolidated rental car center (CONRAC) at the San Diego International Airport is a massive two-million-square-foot structure. It houses 16 rental car companies, a customer service building, a quick-turn-around car prep facility, and a 5,400-car ready/return area. Western Pump was selected to construct the fueling and car wash systems, including the mechanical and electrical control systems, conduits, and wiring.
MCCS MINI-MALL AND FUELING STATION (TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA)
Western Pump collaborated with Halbert Construction Co. to design and construct the MCCS Mini-Mall and Fuel Station at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. Western Pump designed and built the entire fuel system for this project. The system included three (3) 20,000-gallon underground storage tanks, six (6) multiproduct fuel dispensers, a 4-column canopy structure with LED lighting, a monument price sign, a 3-terminal point-of-sale system, a tank, and a continuous monitoring system.
