Project Description
The Pilot Flying J Fuel System Install was completed in January of 2019. Western Pump was selected to construct the Fueling Systems for this project. The scope of work included all mechanical and electrical control systems, conduits, and wiring for the installation of an auto and truck stop facility located in Brawley, CA. The project included the installation of two (2) Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) and four (4) Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs) with underground piping and electrical for (24) fuel positions under two canopies.

- Two (2) Underground Storage Tanks (UST’s) (25,000 gallons and 12,000 gallons)
- Four (4) 12,000 gallon Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST’s)
- One (1) 4,000 gallon Oil Water Separator (OWS)
- Tank top equipment, product piping (diesel, gas, and DEF), and vapor piping
- Fuel, DEF, and OWS system vent piping
- Seven (7) UST & OWS sumps
- Three (3) pipe transition sumps
- Twelve (12) Under Dispenser Containments (UDCs) One (1) remote fill diesel fill station
- Fuel and DEF aboveground piping
- Twelve (12) fuel dispensers and hanging hardware
